THURROCK-BASED bus company Ensign are asking for children in Thurrock to send in their drawings.
On their Facebook page ‘EnsignbusCo’, the bus company said: “We are planning something for next Thursday (more details to follow) and this time we are looking for Children’s (or adults) drawings of:
• Your favourite emergency service (can just be an emergency services vehicle) OR
• A favourite/ dream holiday
“Please email your drawings to us at customerservices@ensignbus.com before 3pm on Thursday, 23rd April.
“Please note that photos need to be ‘square on’ shots and not taken at a distance.
“Also it would be great to have artists name, age & location on the bottom of the drawing – thank you.”
Last Thursday (April 9th), as part of Ensignbus’ ‘Eggs for Heroes’ appeal, one of the company’s double-decker buses went to Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital decorated with rainbow/ thank you drawings send in by children in the community to say thank you to the staff at the hospital.
The bus also had on it a large amount of Easter Eggs, donated from supermarkets and shops in the area, for the staff to enjoy.
