TWO vehicles were seized for no valid insurance while cannabis was found in another vehicle in a busy night for the Thurrock Community Policing team last night (Friday 17th April).
They posted the following update on social media this morning:
“Thurrock Community Policing Team has a busy night on Friday 17th April, the proactive C shift team were out attending incidents and #KeepingYouSafe.
“During the night 2 vehicles were seized for having no valid insurance, and the drivers were processed for driving without a licence.
“They assisted Grays LPT (Local Policing team) with a vehicle stop, where a search resulted in cannabis being found.
“Officers spotted a vehicle that was driving erratically, and the vehicle failed to stop for police and a pursuit ensued resulting in the driver being arrested.
“Responded to an alarm activation at lakeside retail park where there was evidence of an attempt break in.”
