“Thank you to S&J Self Drive Hire for donating the use of one of their vans for the shop. We are truly grateful to Victoria and all who contributed in any way, we are humbled by your generosity and support for our work, many, many thanks.”
They also posted on their Facebook page (Wednesday 22 April): “Thank you M&S at Moto Services Lakeside for the donation of sweets, these will be very welcomed by our clients.”
On Monday (20 April) they took the opportunity to thank brownie Jessica, who made a card (pictured below) thanking the volunteers:
“Today we had a lovely surprise at the warehouse when Jessica, her little brother Xander and mum Jo dropped off some food. Jessica is a Brownie and for her charity badge she collected the food and some money for Thurrock Foodbank.
“Jessica also gave us a lovely card she had made to thank our volunteers for their hard work. Well done Jessica, thank you to you and your family for the food and money and for the great card which is on display in the warehouse for all to see.”
