Tributes pour in following funeral for Stanford-le-Hope pub legend Gino Renoldi

TRIBUTES have poured following the funeral of popular Stanford-le-Hope restaurateur Gino Renoldi, which took place on Thursday.

Gino’s daughter, Francesca Renoldi posted a moving message on social media on Thursday (23 April), along with the accompanying image.

Francesca said: “My dad – Gino in all his beauty. Thank you stanford for all your respect today.”

One of the ways Gino will be remembered in the community is for his efforts to promote live bands at his pub the Railway Tavern, which became a popular venue.

He was also restaurateur of Gino’s Taverna in Stanford-Le-Hope.

On social media, many left their own tributes on Francesca’s post, and it was clear to see that above all people will remember Gino for the type of man he was.

Just one comment, that was typical of the many that were left, was from Tom Morse, who said: “Francesca Renoldi he truly was a great man and will be missed by everybody who the pleasure of meeting him, condolences to you and your family xxx.”

In another tribute, Hazel Spencer Painter said: “What a Beautiful send off to a truly loved father xx.”
