IT was a busy night for Thurrock’s Local Policing Team (LPT), Dogs Section and Operation Support Group (OSG) on Monday night (27 April).
Essex Police – Thurrock said: “A van was spotted in Thurrock and failed to stop for officers. It was pursued and eventually came to a stop in Brentwood.
“The driver attempted to run off but was apprehended by officers.
“Driver arrested for failing to stop, drug driving and theft from motor vehicles.
“Following this another vehicle failed to stop in Tilbury.
“LPT were assisted once again by the Dogs Section and the driver was arrested. Contents of the vehicle are suspected stolen and our investigation is under way.
“Great work from the teams last night, these individuals probably should have followed the governments advice and stayed home!”
