GRAYS COUNCILLORS DEMAND REVIEW OF STREET LIGHTING IN RESPONSE TO ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR CONCERNS.
Cllr Tony Fish has today called for a review of street lighting in Grays, in response to anti-social behaviour concerns.
Responding to concerns from residents along the river front, he has demanded that the council check all street lights, in an effort to deter anti-social behaviour.
He said: “We all know that anti-social behaviour thrives where poor street lighting allows it.
“Myself, Cllr Kerin and Cllr Pothecary have been dealing with poor lighting along our river front. Today, we are calling for the council to audit the street lighting in our ward to deter any further outbreaks of anti-social behaviour.
“We want to work with the council to make sure our residents are safe.”
