- Bluewater is supporting local retail businesses and entrepreneurs by running a competition which will see one lucky winner receive a free shop unit at the shopping centre for 6 months*. The competition is a first for Bluewater and is an opportunity for local retail businesses to grow their audience and brand.
The ‘Made in Kent’ competition has been designed by the team at Bluewater to support local up and coming businesses, with entries now open and running until Monday 10th August. The winning brand will be given access to a free shop unit for 6 months at Europe’s leading retail and leisure destination from 1st October 2020 till 31st March 2021.
The winning brand will be given a unit which they will be able to transform into their own retail space at Bluewater. The competition will be judged on following elements; details of products to be sold in the shop unit, background information on the brand, business plans/goals for the next 5 years, how the owner will transform the space into an engaging store and offer a great experience for customers.
Bluewater is looking for applicants who are ready to take their retail brand to the next level, by hosting a 6-month pop-up shop and putting their brand in front of some of the most discerning shoppers in the country. The winning brand will also benefit from media and marketing support from Bluewater and have the opportunity to advertise their brand on in-centre digital screens.
