DURING July, three Grays councillors asked for an audit of lighting in their ward – this has not happened.
Their residents are continuing to contact them regarding the poor state of lighting.
The photo attached was given to them by a resident of Seabrooke Rise.
Across the ward, a number of lights are out, and have been for some time now.
Statement by Cllrs Fish, Kerin and Pothecary
‘Back in July, we requested an audit of lighting on our ward. This has not been done, and the result is predictable.
‘It won’t be long until the weather changes and this issue becomes even more serious than it is now.
‘It is time to fix the lights while the sun is shining!’
