THE INFECTION rate in Thurrock has dropped by 42%.
The borough has 633 cases.
That equates to 363.6 cases per 100,000.
Thy have actually gone back up the table to 71st.
This continues to confirm that we are having a very difficult January and underline why the authorities have declared that the whole county has to be treated as the scene of a “major incident”.
However, as you may notice, Thurrock and a lot of other Essex areas are starting to drop down the table.
Remember, these figures relate to January 26th and not today (January 31st)
