THIS won’t take long. It will be great to see Jimmy Thandi be a councillor. Jimmy has been an asset to the Thurrock community for years.

Community and society mean an awful lot to Jimmy and he will be the true of councillor who will go into the chamber want to do the best for the people of Chafford Hundred, North Stifford and Thurrock.

His involvement in the Little Thurrock community and Grays Athletic has been lauded by many.

He also represents an aspirational generation and culture that can only be good for Thurrock.

Many believe that local councils should be a collections of all the talents and this is a chance for Jimmy to prove this.

Very little is known about the Labour candidate.

Her Facebook advert states: “I want to be your local Councillor because the Tories have taken local people for granted and have let this community down. You only have to look around to see the neglect – I want to change that”

We are sure she is working hard behind the scenes and learning lots.

Candidates

Jimmy Thandi (Conservative party)

Mofeda Thuvin (Labour)

  1. Exceedingly biased reporting. Nothing about the other candidate, shame on you Your Thurrock, always thought you aspired to a higher plain.
