Isthmian Premier
Bowers and Pitsea 1 v 2 East Thurrock United

A CRACKING winner from Paulius Ditkavicius, two minutes into added time, gave Rocks their first win of the new season.
The Lithuanian under 21 international picked up the ball some ten yards outside the box, and, spotting home keeper Constable slightly off his line, struck a delightful effort into the top corner.
The first hour or so saw plenty of honest endeavour from both sides, but with goal openings at a premium.
On 63 minutes, Quentin Monville put the home side into the lead, latching onto a half clearance to fire past Arthur Janata.
However, the battling Rocks then took the game to the home side, and with the introduction of Kenny Aileru causing Bowers problems, the overworked home defence conceded a free kick on the edge of the box with twelve minutes left on the clock, which young striker Alex Hernandez curled sweetly round the wall and just inside Constable’s post.
Shortly afterwards, Ditkevicius fired a rasping drive just over, but Rocks kept plugging away, and were rewarded with that late winner.
