GRAYS Athletic’s great start to the season continued with a well deserved victory again landlords Aveley.
Goals by Anointed Chukwu (14) and David Knight (65) secured all three points for the Blues.
The Millers had equalised through Shad Ngandu (53′ pen).
The result leaves Grays Ath top of the league and on maximum points.
Aveley sit in ninth place, just two points off the play off places in this early part of the season.
Grays Ath return to league action on Friday September 10th away at Maldon and Tiptree.
Aveley return to league action at home to Hullbridge Sports on Saturday September 11th.
