THE Amazon fulfilment centre in Tilbury has donated £1,500 to East Tilbury Primary School.

This donation will be used to set up its preloved uniform shop, including making repairs to the unit that houses it.

Carlos Guijarro Benito, General Manager at Amazon in Tilbury, said:

“Amazon is passionate about supporting the education of young people and we’re pleased to make this donation to the staff and pupils at East Tilbury Primary School.”

Kate Fogarty from East Tilbury Primary School, added:

“On behalf of everyone here at the school, I would like to extend a big thank you to Amazon for this donation. The donation will help fund new books and devices to ensure our pupils are given the best opportunities to learn.”

East Tilbury Primary School received the donation as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities around its operating locations across the UK.
