THURROCK Adult Community College has launched a diverse and exciting 2022 Course Offer with training and development opportunities to engage residents of all ages and abilities.
For a limited time, health and wellbeing courses are free. Maths, English and digital skills courses are free for all adults and many others may also be free for you to access subject to certain conditions.

Cllr Barry Johnson, Cabinet Member for Education, said: “Community learning opportunities have never been better, the team of tutors has expanded and new and exciting free courses have been developed in Family Learning, Wellbeing and Languages, whilst ensuring that digital skills, Maths, English, English as a second language courses and employability training are at the centre of the course offer.
“Following feedback from the community, some of your favourite courses that had to be stopped due to the pandemic are back on the agenda, with new ones being introduced based on the needs of local residents too.
“Courses at Thurrock Adult Community College are part time and start and finish around school hours to allow parents and carers to drop off or pick up children from school. You will be enrolled on courses with people at a similar level to you, so there is no need to be nervous about taking the next step in your learning and development.”
