East Thurrock United 2 v 1 Kingstonian

EAST Thurrock kept their slender hopes of survival alive with the win at home against Kingstonian.

Kenny Beaney opened the scoring for the visitors in the 32nd minute but a double form John Ashman (59 and 84) secured all three points.

The Rocks remain second from bottom, seven points from safety, with nine games left.

They return to league action next Saturday away at Leatherhead.
