FOUR Thurrock Harriers athletes qualified to represent Essex and made their way to the championships in Loughborough on Saturday.
A large event with the top athletes from the UK racing so a high quality field and they all did the club proud:
Senior Women: Kathryn Spring 177 out of 274
U20 Women: Sarah Brockley: 55 out of 135
U17 Women: Jayne Elvin 28 out of 256
U15 Boys: 36 out of 301
Well done to all, the course was challenging and very slippery in the muddy parts. The senior woman who won raced most of it with only one shoe! Lots of lost spikes in the mud.
