Police investigate serious assault at pub in Grays

ESSEX Police are investigating an assault at a pub in Grays which left a man with injuries to his head.

It was reported the victim, who’s in his 20s, was attacked by a man in The Club on Maidstone Road at around 6pm on Thursday (14 July) when he was approached by his attacker.

They went outside to the smoking area at which point the victim was attacked with what has been described as a knuckle duster.

He was left with injuries to his head including a deep gash.

His attacker has been described to us as white, 5ft 11ins tall, of stocky build, with brown eyes and straight black hair.
