PLANS for the biggest summer adventure ever as Lakeside welcomes Marvel and DC’s incredible force of superheroes.
Starting from Monday 25 July, Lakeside is putting on six weeks of superhero-tastic entertainment over the school holidays for families and superhero-enthusiasts to enjoy together.
10 incredible life-size replica characters will be scattered across Lakeside for children, and adults, to find. To meet your hero up close and personal and take a superhero-selfie is unforgettable, plus it’s completely free for all visitors to Lakeside.
There’s more. Download the App for free by scanning the QR code in the centre and find even more superheroes hidden around the centre. Find each of the hidden characters and watch them magically appear on your phone – this is great for hours of fun and adventure, plus there are prizes to be won. For a chance to win a super-cool, super-tastic, superhero prize bundle take a selfie with one of the character on the mall or the app, tag Lakeside with the hashtag#Lakesidesuperherosummer.
Plus, how would you like to animate the superhero in your life? This money-can’t-buy opportunity is for mum who is there for you, dad who teaches you right from wrong or a person in your life that goes above and beyond. A leading animator will turn your nominated superhero into a stunning colour animation. From Monday 25 July from 10am until 4pm and each weekday after until Friday 26 August, visit ‘Super Mel’ and her Superhero Academy on the Lower Mall near the former Debenhams to take part in free craft activities.
