GRAYS Athletic lost out to an impressive league leaders Lowestoft on Saturday afternoon.
Goals by Adam Hipperson (62′), Charlie Norman (69′) and Rhys Logan (83′) secured all three points for the Suffolk side.
Grays Ath had opened the scoring through Sam Bantick (51′).
The result leaves Grays Ath in fourth place, nine points behind Lowestoft.
They return to league action on Wednesday at home to Gorleston.
