Goals by Kieran Jones (2′), Darren Phillips (16′), Rhys Henry (18′) Darren Phillips (25′ pen)
and Rob Harvey (36′) secured all three points for Heybridge.
Tilbury’s scorer was Darnell Kithambo (93′).
The result leaves Tilbury in fourteenth place, eight points off the play-off places.
They return to league action on Saturday away at AFC Sudbury.
