AVELEY came away with an important away point against Horsham on Saturday.
A double strike by Ben Allen (64 and 79) was countered by two goals bt Horsham’s Tom Kavanagh (34) and Eddie Deane (90).
The result leaves Aveley in fourth spot, five points off league leaders, Hornchurch.
They return to league action on Friday at home to Enfield Town.
