ON Wednesday (8 March), the world came together to mark International Women’s Day, and Lakeside Shopping Centre joined in celebration with its workforce of united women.
From housekeeping to management, the centre invited its team onto the mall for a rare photo opportunity to highlight its strength on women’s rights and equal opportunities. A video was also created by Lakeside that includes several female retail staff reading out a poem, which can be viewed here:
