THURROCK-based County Park girls have brought a trophy to Thurrock.
The girls lifted the Essex FA U12s Girls County Cup after a 1-0 win against Buckhurst Hill Tigresses.
After a nervous start the Park girls grew into the game dominating the second half and the deadlock was broken in the 50th minute by Blossom who pounced on a loose ball to score from close range.
County Park’s goalkeeper Kornelija was in fine form coming off her line to clear any long ball hit over the defence by the Buckhurst Hill Tigresses ensuring the team kept a clean sheet.
