
TWO people have been arrested following a collision in Aveley which left a man seriously injured.
It was reported a black BMW X1 and an e-scooter were in collision in Ship Lane at around 8am yesterday (Tuesday 30 May).
The rider of the e-scooter, a 19 year-old man, sustained serious injuries and taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Two people – a 22 year-old man from Aveley and a 28 year-old woman from Grays – were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
They have both since been released under investigation.
