GATEWAY Primary Free School’s first successful FREE Stay & Play event for two year olds [siblings who are younger are also welcome to join] took place on Thursday.
At the event, children, with their parents, were invited to come and explore their teacher-led nursery facilities.
Children are able to access a range of activities of their choosing such as: a role play area; sand tray; water toys; woodwork skills; arts and crafts; play-dough; counting and number activities; early reading activities; and many others.
Refreshments were also provided free of charge for parents and children. Half of those in attendance signed their children up for their nursery and they will be starting as soon as they turn three.
One parent took the time to say: “We had a great time at the play group today. It was amazing and had nice friendly staff’.
This takes place every Thursday during term-time and is open to families who do not currently attend our setting

Anyone wanting to attend with their children can make their way to their main reception at 10am where staff will be on hand to greet them.
