Statement from the club: WHEN we launched the working group for setting up a fan-run community club in East Thurrock we announced we would hold a competition to design the club badge.
Today we are launching this competition, you have until the 31st Jan to submit your design to [email protected]. Any questions please get in touch and we will be happy to answer them.
The club colours are amber & black and the badge must contain at least ‘East Thurrock Community Football Club’ on it.
As we will be a new legal entity we cannot reuse the old badge but please take inspiration from this if you wish.
After the designs are in we will then shortlist and hold a vote of club members to decide the final badge in February. As a fan-run community club, there is no financial reward for the winning entry.
We would like to invite everyone to attend a public meeting to hear the plans for East Thurrock Community Football Club and how we bring first-team football back for the 2024/2025 season.
The meeting will be held at The New Courthouse, 39 King St, Stanford-le-Hope SS17 0HJ on Wednesday 10th January at 7:30pm. If you would like to attend please email [email protected] to register so we are aware of how many people are attending.
The members of the East Thurrock Community Football Club working group will talk about the exciting future we have ahead of us as a fan-run football club. We will cover how the organisation will be structured, how it will be financed, how you can be involved and more. After we have presented we will take questions on the future of the club.
