AVELEY went down to a last gasp winner from Worthing to remain anchored to the bottom of the table.
A goal by Razzaq Coleman De-Graft (47′) had cancelled out Danny Cashman’s 41st minute penalty.
But a Harrison Smith winner in the 92nd minute gave the Sussex side all three points.
Aveley remain bottom.
They return to league action on Saturday at home to Boreham Wood.
