AVELEY’S relegation woes continued with a 2-0 defeat away at Hampton.
Goals by Kristian Campbell (54′) and Mike Atkinson (75′) secured all three points for Hampton.
The result leaves Aveley second from bottom of the league.
The only “good” news was that many of the other strugglers also lost.
They return to action on Monday at home to St Albans City.
