EVEN though players will play the game for different reasons (participation, progression and/or performance), there will come a time where they’ll participate within tournaments, cups and competitions, where an increased focus will be placed upon winning and performing.
A new ‘Preparing for Competition’ workshop, being organised by the Essex County FA’s Coach Education Department, looks at how coaches can best prepare themselves and their players to maximise these experiences, increasing the chances of success within competition, but also ensuring it is a memorable and exciting experience for all.
This workshop is taking place across two venues on Monday 17th February – Dagenham from 6:00-9:30pm, and Chelmsford from 6:00-9:00pm.
