TILBURY’S task of reaching the play-offs were made harder after a defeat to high-flying Bury Town.
Goals by Cemal Ramadan (51′) and Lewis O’Malley (62′) secured all three points for the Suffolk side.
Tilbury’s scorer was Alex Hernandez (69′).
The result leaves Tilbury in sixth place, nine points off the play off spot with eight games left.
Tilbury return to league action on Tuesday at home to Mildenhall Town.
