IS your football club making the most of the programmes provided by the Jack Petchey Achievement Award scheme? Almost 90% of schools in London and Essex have signed-up, and grassroots Essex clubs could also benefit.

Youth organisations working with young people aged 11-25 in London or Essex could be considered eligible to join the scheme, which seeks to recognise young people, offer them opportunities and support organisations through various funding programmes. They offer opportunities for schools and youth groups to join a wide range of programmes for the young people they work with, which are either free, or heavily subsidised by the Foundation.
The Foundation was set up by Sir Jack Petchey CBE to inspire and motivate young people across London and Essex to do their best and reach their full potential. Since 1999, over £180 million has been invested in programmes to benefit youngsters.
