THE leader of Thurrock Council has issued a statement in light of the terror attack at a Manchester synagogue.
Lyn Worrall said” “I utterly condemn the wicked and evil terror attack on a synagogue in Manchester. To target people on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, makes this cowardly act even more sickening.
My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the Jewish community at this time of mourning and reflection.
“There is no justification for terrorism, antisemitism, or religious hatred. We stand together against extremism and for the right of every community to worship in peace and safety”.
