THREE swimmers from Thurrock Swimming Club participated in this years National Inter County Championships held in Sheffield.
Joshua Shepherd, James McGettigan and Kai Patel, who all train at Blackshots Leisure Centre with partners Impulse Leisure, swam brilliantly and were major contributors to Essex remaining in the 1st Division.
Joshua swum to a lifetime best in the 100 back and equalled his PB in the 100 free. James McGettigan, improved his best time by 3 seconds in the 100 breast. Kai Patel, swam in the 14-15 age group 100 breast and achieved a 1 second PB.
