THE Essex County FA are proud to announce a new partnership with FPRO, an innovative sports tech platform helping young footballers develop skills and confidence through structured, engaging training.
The agreement will see FPRO working alongside the County FA to provide added value to the grassroots game. As part of the partnership, FPRO will feature across the Essex County FA’s digital platforms, sharing regular updates, training insights and useful resources with the local football community. The collaboration is designed to bring fresh opportunities and benefits to grassroots football across the county.
FPRO is a player development platform combining a smart training app with a Ball Mastery Mat. Developed with UEFA-certified coaches and professional players, the app delivers video-led drills, progress tracking and gamified learning, while the mat provides a visual guide to improve ball control and coordination. Together, they make world-class training accessible to children anywhere, anytime, building technique, discipline, goal-setting and a lasting passion for the game.
This collaboration will be a positive step for grassroots football, with FPRO highlighting Essex County FA development projects and shining a spotlight on initiatives which matter to players, coaches, volunteers and clubs across the region.
By showcasing innovative content and sharing resources, the partnership will help ensure that local clubs and volunteers are kept informed, inspired and engaged.
