Aveley 2 v 1 Dulwich Hamlet
AVELEY continued their impressive form, securing four straight victories at home to maintain their second-place position in the Isthmian Premier League. Dulwich, however, were denied their fourth consecutive away victory in all comps.
The first half was a dull affair, mirroring the weather conditions. Dulwich struggled to create chances, relying on slow build-up play from the back. Their best effort came from Nyren Clunis, who fired wide of the right-hand post from six yards out.
Aveley had their own opportunities. Chris Harris fired over a follow-up effort after Jesse Nwabueze was denied by Toby Bull.
