ESSEX Police have charged a man who was quickly arrested after a robbery in South Ockendon.
A man reportedly stole goods from the Derry Court Tesco Express on Thursday 26 February at about 6pm, punching a security guard and threatening them with a knife before leaving the store.

They were arrested less than half an hour later and following work by Grays Criminal Investigation Department, 24-year-old Harry Packer, of no fixed abode, is charged with robbery, attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article.
He’s been remanded in custody, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 28 February and was further remanded to appear at court at a later date.
