GRASSROOTS football clubs across Essex are being encouraged to take advantage of a fantastic fundraising opportunity this May, thanks to a partnership between Tesco and easyfundraising.
The initiative will see Tesco donate a total of £5,000 to community causes across the UK, including grassroots football teams, with five clubs each receiving a £1,000 funding boost. Local clubs can increase their chances of securing one of the £1,000 donations simply by encouraging their players, parents, coaches and wider club community to shop with Tesco or F&F Clothing* through Essex County FA partners, easyfundraising, during May.
As well as entering clubs into the prize draw, every eligible shop made via easyfundraising will also generate a free cashback donation for the club at no extra cost to supporters. The campaign offers a simple way for clubs to raise vital funds which can help to support equipment purchases, facility improvements, coaching resources, kit provision and much more.
To take part, clubs must first register with easyfundraising if they have not already done so. Once registered, clubs are encouraged to ask supporters to join for free and to complete their Tesco or F&F shopping through the easyfundraising website or app before Saturday 31st May.
Clubs who are already registered can also access a range of free promotional materials, including downloadable social media graphics, flyers and messaging templates to help spread the word across their communities.
