AN unbeaten 114 by Colchester’s Greg DaSilva was the difference between the two teams at The Village Green in North Stifford.
Batting first in this League Cup tie, Belhus always knew that this would be quite a task but they acquitted themselves well scoring 215 for 6 in their alloted overs with Gavin Jeffries top scoring with 53.
Dale Kenyon took a couple of early wickets but all that took was bring Da Silva to the crease who scored a sparkling century in the Belhus sunshine. Despite a clatter of middle order wickets, he steered the team to victory by two wickets.
