Police appeal for Witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road collision in Grays in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, May 9.

The collision in Oliver Road, Grays, happened at about 2.20am this morning and involved one vehicle, a green Peugeot 406, which lost control colliding with a fence.

Two of the three men in the car were thrown from the vehicle. The men aged in their 30s were taken by ambulance to the Royal London Hospital where they are in a critical life-threatening condition.

The third man received minor injuries and was taken to the Darenth Valley Hospital in Kent.

Whilst I do not wish any of those involved in the incident any ill health and I hope that they recover from their injuries, it does beg the question about what speed they must have been doing, Oliver Road is a single lane two way street and to have two occupants thrown from the vehicle they must have been travelling at some speed
