HERE is a man who was global and now lives local. Ruben Carril, 40, from Harrisons Wharf, Purfleet had his life changed on March 30th 2005 when a truck hit his Harley Davidson motorbike and he lost his leg.
Ruben has had a full and active life since then. We interviewed Ruben about the life he is living now but before we show what Ruben is doing in Thurrock, here is a film which explains what happened on that day five years ago.
