THE third performance of the Thurrock Drama Festival was an original play by Nicholas Wilkes called Collection Point B.
The story revolved what was inside a couple of boxes to be uplifted at the Collection Point B. Members of the audience, perhaps having seen too much Lost started to muse, whether Collection Point B was infact Purgatory etc.
The three actors in the play complimented each other nicely. Emily Catlin was the star turn with a real comedic touch. Neil Gray kept the energy running as the rather neurotic young man wondering why he had certain objects in the box although having seen Neil last year, we are starting to wonder if “neurotic young man” is his only schtick.
The audience really enjoyed it and it is clearly a play that would gain from repeat viewing.
Just a moot point. It would only be fair to inform people you are going to use the F-word as there were young children in the audience.
