A MAN has been charged with several offences following an arrest by Thurrock’s Town Centre Team.
Joe Benton, 20, of Ashley Road in Grays was charged with possession of a knife in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon and has been remanded for failing to appear at court.
He appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Monday 2 September.
It follows a stop by the Town Centre Team on Sunday 1 September, in which weapons were allegedly recovered.
