AVELEY showed their promotion credentials with an emphatic victory against fellow promotion candidates Heybeidge Swifts.
Goals by Harry Gibbs (31′), Jason Raad (45′), Alexander Akrofi (50′) and George Sykes (52′-72′) made it a great afternoon at Parkside.
The result leaves Aveley in fifth place, in the play-off places, eight points off the top place.
They return to league action on Saturday November 16th at home to Soham Town Rangers.
