Police are appealing for information after a robbery in Crown Road, Grays, last month.
At 8.55pm on Saturday, July 3, four suspects approached the 16-year-old male victim and demanded his possessions. They threatened him before making off towards the railway station with his I-pod, worth an estimated £100.
Investigating officer, Dc Lisa Brodie, said: “We would ask residents and commuters to cast their minds back to remember if they saw this or saw the group of suspects in the area at the time. It happened near to the south side of train station, and although it was at night, I am certain that someone would have seen this. If you know anything, please contact us so you can help bring those responsible to justice.”
Suspect one was a white boy, aged between 13-15, 5’1” tall, short messy fair coloured hair, a freckled face, wearing a yellow t-shirt with a logo on, red football shorts and trainers. Suspect two was a white boy, aged between 15-17, 5’8” tall, short cropped fair hair, tanned complexion, wearing a plain white vest, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Suspect three was a white boy, aged between 15-17, 5’8” tall, short dark hair, a freckled face, wearing a light blue t-shirt, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers. Suspect four was a boy, aged 15-17, 5’8”, short mousey brown hair, wearing no top, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
