A SPECTACULAR performance featuring aerial artists dancing to beautiful music while floating across a lake suspended inside giant inflated bubbles is coming to Thurrock.
Start Thurrock are delighted to be bringing Music of the Spheres to Lakeside Shopping Centre on Saturday, August 10.
This is the only time the unique event, which features bubbles as tall as a four-storey building, is being performed in the UK this year.
The event is being organised alongside Music of the Spheres creators Eye Music Trust, event experts Continental Drifts and the team at Lakeside. It is completely free to attend.
Start Thurrock Creative Director Katie Beadle said: “We are so excited to be bringing Music of the Spheres to Thurrock.
“One of our aims as an organisation is to create extraordinary experiences for people in Thurrock which spark your imagination and unleash your creativity. We hope this event will do just that.
“I promise this will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. It is a truly amazing show which has to be seen to be believed.”
The two magical performances will be held at Alexandra Lake outside the shopping centre on the day at 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
From 12pm a host of other acts will be making appearances to keep visitors entertained.
This includes the world-famous Titan the Robot who has performed all over the world, including on Britain’s Got Talent.
There will also be comedians, live music, a spectacular display from bubble artists, creative workshops and much, much more.
Katie added: “We’ve tried to make sure there is something for everyone on the day but for it to be especially accessible for young people.
“We’ve spoken to teenagers who have had their say on the type of acts we have organised, and where they like to visit which is why we’re hosting the event at Lakeside.
“It is going to be incredible, and we cannot wait to see you there.”
