LAKESIDE Shopping Centre is proud to announce that it is now part of the Breastfeeding Welcome Here scheme to ensure parents feel welcome, supported, and at ease while feeding their little ones at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Funded by the Government’s Start for Life and Family Hubs programme, the scheme is designed to help parents identify supportive spaces outside the home where they can breastfeed.
Howard Oldstein, Centre Director at Lakeside commented: “We are committed to ensuring families feel welcomed and comfortable to shop, stroll & visit Lakeside at any life stage which is why we have joined the Breastfeeding Welcome Here scheme. It’s a fantastic initiative which makes it easy for parents to identify places where they can feel comfortable breastfeeding and we’re proud to be members.”
