BASILDON residents seeking a meaningful and rewarding career are invited to attend the Basildon Social Care Job Fair, taking place on Friday 11 July, from 11am to 1pm, at the Basildon Centre.
Whether you’re just starting out or ready to take the next step in your career, this event is the perfect opportunity to explore roles in care homes, supported living, and home care. Local employers will be on hand to discuss current vacancies and answer your questions.
The event will also feature fostering service providers looking for new carers, as well as training providers offering courses to help you launch or grow your career in the care sector.
Cllr Jessica Power, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Jobs & Skills, is encouraging residents to drop in and explore the opportunities available. She said: “We believe in Basildon, and we’re committed to growing our borough by bringing in new businesses and investment. It’s vital that our residents are equipped with the right skills to make the most of these opportunities.
“Whether you’re already working in care, considering a career change, or simply want to learn more about training options, I’d love to see you at the event.”
