F.HINDS, one of the UK’s longest-established family-owned jewellers, is celebrating an outstanding year of charitable giving, community support and business growth in 2025 – while looking ahead to an even more impactful year ahead. 2026 marks 170 years of trading for the business, which continues to be run by sixth-generation Hinds family members.

Throughout 2025, F.Hinds raised an impressive £40,666 for charity, supporting both national causes and a wide network of local community organisations. Central to this achievement were two major charity partnerships, both of which exceeded their fundraising targets.

In the first year of its partnership with Dementia UK, F.Hinds set a fundraising goal of £10,000 – ultimately raising £14,433 to support specialist Admiral Nurses providing life-changing care for families affected by dementia.

F.Hinds also continued its long-standing support of BBC Children in Need, once again surpassing expectations by raising £12,074, helping fund vital projects for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Alongside its national partnerships, F.Hinds placed strong emphasis on supporting charities at a local level – a cornerstone of the brand’s community-first approach. In 2025 alone, the business supported 84 local charities, all nominated by store teams as causes close to their hearts. These included local hospices, primary schools, sports teams, wildlife sanctuaries and churches, ensuring fundraising efforts delivered meaningful impact in the communities F.Hinds serves every day.

Additional charitable contributions in 2025 included support for Save the Children (£364), Thames Hospice (£4,000) and the Retail Trust (£5,968), further demonstrating the breadth of causes supported across the year.

Looking ahead, F.Hinds aims to build on its charitable success by strengthening existing partnerships, supporting even more local causes and continuing to empower store teams to make a positive difference where it matters most.

Andrew Hinds, Chairman of F.Hinds commented, “Supporting our communities has always been at the heart of F.Hinds. I am incredibly proud of what our teams achieved at both a national and local level, exceeding our fundraising goals for organisations doing truly vital work. What makes this especially meaningful is that so many of our local partnerships are chosen by our colleagues, reflecting the causes closest to their hearts. As we move into 2026, with continued investment in our stores and communities, we remain firmly committed to making a positive difference wherever we operate.”

2025 also marked a period of continued investment and growth for F.Hinds, with several new store openings and relocations completed in the second half of the year, including a return to Aylesbury and the jeweller’s second Scottish store opening in Livingston.

Building on this momentum, relocations are already in the pipeline for the coming months in Bradford and Lakeside, reinforcing the brand’s long-term commitment to high-street retail and local communities.

Andrew concluded, “As a family business celebrating 170 years this year, we are proud of the legacy we have built – not just on the high street, but within the communities we serve. Giving back has always been part of who we are and reaching this milestone while supporting so many important causes is something we truly value. As we look ahead to 2026 and beyond, our focus remains on honouring that heritage, supporting our people and continuing to make a meaningful difference for future generations.”
