  1. It really is a lovely place to live in the Belhus area, we have lorries on a 24/7 basis, our air we breath is polluted by the lorries and the nearby M25 traffic, the Noise pollution we have to put up with, is also 24/7, so how can the Labour party and its local councillors, fell it is right and just to put up our rents and council taxes, when all our lives are been blighted on a daily basis, if we are to be continualy bombarded by noise and air pollution 24/7, then our properties along the Stifford Road, and Spellbrook Close near to the M25 and the Howard Tenens Site, should be given a massive cut in our rents and rates.
And not the empty promises from our so called councillors, who dont even visit us, during local elections, we dont even feel they know where Belhus ward is because they are interested in helping residentd out in the Ockendon ward. we are hopeing for a landslide TORY win so that, they can help us with local issues, that is something the Labour group wont.
Our local councillors have been accused of Racists remarks, forgetting to inform a planning committee that they had a interests in the site they were discussing, ie forgot to tell the chair of the meeting that he was the,Chairperson of the Veloia group, who wanted to take over the Howard Tenens Site for private housing, when he was caught out, he then said that he could personnally lift a Enforcement notice from the Planning Department, what a liar, then at the same meeting he couldnt tell anybody where the woods were that Howard Tenens were accused of destroying, all because he couldnt or wouldnt support the local residents along Stifford Road, ie,347 people signed a petition, which he and the other cllr’s wouldnt support.
Is this what the people want in the Belhus ward, a cll’r who wants to feather his own little nest, another cll’r who talks a good talk, but nothing else another cll’r only wants to chair SORA meetings and be racists, none of them wants to do the jobs they were elected to do.
So let the Tory councillors in, and let them help us with our problems, they are the only party that actually wants to help and assist us.
