THURROCK MP Jackie Doyle Price rose on the floor of the Houe of Commons today (Wed June 8th) to speak out against the “atrocities in Syria”.

Hundreds have been killed since protests began in February against the rule of Mr Assad, who took over from his father, Hafez al-Assad, in 2000.

Hundreds of Syrians are crossing the northern border into Turkey in an attempt to escape growing violence in their own country.

The Prime Minister, David Cameron thanked the MP and made a number of commitments including seizing assets, restricting trade and tabling a motion to the UN.

  1. Syria, will this be yet another illegal war we will go into under the guise of the United Nations as we have with Lybia? lets not gloss over this with the human rights issues, if the UN were so adamant about the Human Rights of these countries why have they still not done anything about North Korea or Zimbabwe, oh yes I know why, there is no Oil in those nations…….

If the UN are to act as Global Police then at least start looking at other areas that have the same issues as those that they have taken action against and do something about it.

Are the UN just the puppets of the USA who are out to cause political unrest in the Middle East countries and alike just to gain control of the Oil rich nations by putting in place leaders that are compliant with the USA’s wishes.
